FAQs

Our network of caregivers does not provide skilled medical services.

Our network of independent caregivers specializes in non-medical home care services meaning caregivers do not administer medication, change wound dressings, or perform clinical tasks.

If so, your loved one may need skilled nursing services, and we are happy to refer you to a skilled nursing partner.

We accept private payment plans and long-term care insurance.

Omni Bay accepts private payment plans and eligible long-term care insurance plans.

We do not accept clients using Medicare or Medicaid.

Clients must pre-pay the first month fee to Omni Bay for access to our caregiver network and ongoing coordination services. Clients also pay the independent caregivers for performance of non-medical care services.

We review each caregiver to ensure safety, experience, and credentials.

The caregivers we refer are experienced independent home care aides (HCAs) who have:

  • Cleared a criminal background check

  • CPR & First Aide trained

  • Registered with California's Department of Social Services (CDSS) as a state certified HCA

  • Surety Bonded and Liability Insure

Omni Bay is a caregiver referral agency, not an employer.

Omni Bay Home Care Referral Agency does not employ caregivers. Instead, we work with clients who seek to find and employ a pre-vetted and independent caregiver, they employ directly.

We also schedule and support ongoing administrative coordination on behalf of the client.

You decide who works in your home, on what schedule, and on what terms.
